Prior to founding Extreme Inbound, Alan worked as an inbound marketing consultant at HubSpot, a software platform that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers.
After consulting 50+ companies in his first year, Alan joined the HubSpot Academy team, where he built content for and led classes and workshops on contact database segmentation, email marketing and analytics/reporting.
Alan managed the Partner Broadcast, a weekly webinar attended by 150+ marketing agencies from around the globe. He also launched and managed the HubSpot Certification program.
Alan has led in-person marketing certifications, guest lectured at New York University and spoken at Email World in San Diego. He specializes in SEO, blogging, conversion optimization, contact database management, email marketing and analytics/reporting.
